Apparently there is an on-going debate about whether beer tastes better out of a bottle or the tap. While a lot of bars are not cleaning their beer lines as they should, the suggestion most generally stated has been to stay with the bottled (or canned) beer. The article from Lifehacker (www.lifehacker.com) however suggests a wiser solution of going for the beer that is the “most popular” at the bar, and more than likely the freshest because of its quick turnover.
Personally, it’s beer. All I want is a cold one in my hand at the end of the day. Tap or bottle, it really doesn’t matter to me (side note: it kind of does depending on the beer), but in generally I am happy if I have one in my hand, especially if someone else paid for it.
