It seems that the folks at Hi-Fi Brewing have really missed the rainy season here in Seattle. This may have been because last year they were busy building out their awesome new space in Redmond replete with a bevy of record themed material. I think it’s only fair that they’re so eager to welcome back the rain.
To celebrate, Hi-Fi will be throwing a Back to the Rain Party in celebration starting at noon. The festivities will include prize raffles, food, tours of the brewery, and the release of two new seasonal beers.
Food will be available from Midori Bakery (big, tasty, soft pretzels) and at 4:30PM A Happy Hot Dog will be on hand serving up a selection of sausages. Prize raffles will take place between 5PM and 8PM.
And the most exciting part, at least to us, they’ll be serving up two new seasonal beers!
From their website, the Oktoberfest and Pump Up the Volume pumpkin ale are described as:
Oktoberfest – The Hi-Fi take on the traditional German fest bier, this example is is full bodied and has a soft, rich malty flavor. With an aroma reminiscent bread crust and a beautiful deep gold color courtesy of Vienna and Munich malts, this beer is a treat for all your senses. Alcohol: 6.3% ABV, Bitterness: 28 IBU.
Pump Up the Volume – This pumpkin ale is brewed with fresh Washington pumpkin from Imperial Garden Farm in Wapato, and spiced with cinnamon, ginger, cloves, nutmeg, cardamom, and vanilla. A blast of pumpkin pie aroma introduces you to this full-bodied and fairly malty beer. It finishes with a very subtle ginger warmth. Alcohol: 6.8% ABV, Bitterness: 35 IBU.
Hi-Fi Brewing is located at 14950 NE 95th St., Redmond, Washington 98052 and the event runs from noon until 10PM. Hope to see you all there!
