Saturday at 3PM marks the official grand opening of Geaux Brewing in Bellevue and this New Orleans French Quarter themed brewery is ready to celebrate like it’s Mardi Gras in the PNW. Geaux will be serving up a selection of phenomenal beer and Where Ya At Matt will be there with some authentic New Orleans cooking. If you haven’t had any of Geaux’s brews yet then this is a can’t miss event and doubly so if you haven’t had a chance to enjoy Where Ya At Matt.
Geaux will be pouring:
- Lafitte’s Wheat
- Poydras Porter
- Treme IPA
- Ragin’ Cajun IIPA
- Gulf Coast IPA
- Satchmo Imperial Oatmeal Stout
- Laveau – a new Orange Wit from a local home brewer
- And a few other beers from some other local Seattle area breweries
Where Ya At Matt will have their regular menu of po’ boys, gumbo, jambalaya, and more!
And to top it all off, Geaux carries a selection of Zapp’s Potato Chips as well! These hold a special place in my heart (and stomach) because when I was young my family lived just outside New Orleans in Mandeville, LA. And two of the main things I carried with me from there are my love of the New Orleans Saints and my love for Zapp’s.
Geaux has quickly become one of my favorite places in the Seattle area and I’m sure that once you visit that you’ll feel the same.
Geaux is located in Bellevue at 12031 Northup Way, Suite 203 and the party starts at 3. Event info link here.
