Epic Ales Brewers’ Night at Burgundian

epicalesBurgundian (in Tangletown) will be hosting Cody Morris of Epic Ales this Tuesday for a brewer’s night. Epic Ales makes some of the most unique beer in Seattle, some you can find bottled, some you need to venture down to Gastropod (Epic Ales’ brewpub) to try. Well if you haven’t made it down to Gastropod yet, you’ll have the opportunity to try a few options you wouldn’t typically be able to come across otherwise. And on top of getting to try some really cool and interesting beer, you’ll get to enjoy some great food from Burgundian (sister restaurant to Brouwer’s Cafe).

Hey everybody what are you doing on Tuesday August 26th? We’re going to be having a great night with Cody from Epic Ales. We will feature two brand news beers that Cody has been working on plus two beers that he has been tweaking and making even better. We will also have a food pairing designed by our chef for each beer. Here is what’s on the menu for Tuesday:

Beer: Fruity Belgian IPA
Food Pairing: Grilled Figs
Wrapped in ham and stuffed with
lemon balm Chevre

Beer: Beach Beer
Food Pairing: Tacos
Braised Pork Cheeks,
Pickled Black Radish, Mezcal Crema, Guajillo Salsa

Beer: Solar Trans Amplifier
Food Pairing: Duck Salad
Friseee, 5 Spice Duck Breast,
Pickled Egg, Zhoug,
Orange Blossom Vinaigrette

Beer: Basil Saison
Food Pairing:Shrimp Cocktail
Gazpacho Negro, Heirloom Tomato, Serrano, Cilantro oil

P.S. Cody’s dog Fuji will be in attendance (wink wink nudge nudge)
