A little bit about these offerings from Naked City’s beer info page:
Naked City Crossfire IPA – Our flagship IPA is brewed in the West Coast style and inspired by the 1947 film noir of the same name starring the three Roberts (Mitchum, Ryan, and Young). Crossfire has a bold hop presence with notes of citrus and pine. Pale, Munich, and Crystal Malts provide a strong malt backbone, making this IPA extremely balanced and drinkable. ABV: 6.00%
Naked City Sibling Rivalry Pale Ale – This golden brew was specially created as a thanks to listeners of The Sibling Rivalry, a podcast that’s so good in your ears, you’ll want to put it in your mouth. Just like beer! Made with Pale, Light Munich, and a touch of Crystal malt, this original pale should gather a lot of new fans. Bittered with Chinook and finished with Amarillo and Simcoe Hops, it’s better than a hot biscuit at a donkey show. ABV: 5.00%
Naked City Fleur d’ Elise – This Farmhouse Style Ale, also known as a saison, was brewed with Orris Root, Grains of Paradise & primed with Wild Flower Honey. ABV: 6.30%
Naked City Wild at Heart – This low-hopped Strong Amber was aged ten months in Burgundy Barrels from Flying Dreams Winery in Woodinville. Brettanomyces Bruxelensis and Lactobacillus combine for a funky tartness that is interlaced with hints of cherry, vanilla, and oak. Yum! ABV: 8.00%
Naked City Wait Until Dark (Nitro) – This rich, decadent stout was brewed with generous amounts of Chocolate Malt, as well as dark Crystal Malt and Roasted Barley. Full bodied with deep flavors of hazelnut and dark chocolate, Wait Until Dark is inspired by the 1967 Audrey Hepburn thriller. Aged on medium-toast French oak. If you’re in need of comfort, Wait Until Dark. ABV: 6.30%
Naked City 826 Luminosity – Made for “826 Day,” 826 Luminosity is brewed in honor of the inspirational kids, volunteers, and programs at 826 Seattle. Each batch of Luminosity is unique and brewed based on input from the many wonderful staff at 826 Seattle. This year’s vintage is a Summer Golden Rye. Falconer’s Flight 7-Cs hops bring out notes of grapefruit, with the rye malt lending a subtle spiciness. Naked City wholeheartedly supports the wonderful programs at 826 Seattle. ABV: 5.00%
Naked City Dark Passage – Naked City’s Third Anniversary Beer was one of the highlights of last winter! This Imperial Stout was aged in a Merlot barrel and soured with Lactobaccilus to create a complex blend of delicious flavors. ABV: 8.50%
