Migration Week Flocks to Brouwer’s (9/3)

MigrationWeekIn addition to the Chuck’s Hop Shop events (which you can read more about here) we have another exciting Goose Island Migration Week shindig to tell you about. This Wednesday (9/3), Brouwer’s in Fremont will be hosting their own Migration Week event with even more Bourbon County and rare Goose Island beers on tap! In addition to Bourbon County Coffee Stout, they’ll also have Backyard Rye and Proprietor’s. Proprietor’s is typically only released in Chicago, so this is a rare opportunity to try it.

More info from Brouwer’s event post:

We are pleased to announce that Goose Island Brewing out of Chicago has chosen us to host a Goose Island Migration event. What is the Goose Island Migration you ask? The simple answer is this: Goose Island sends brewers, and many rare beers and host events in multiple locations in a market. This is the first time that our market has been included in The Migration and we are one of those chosen locations. We will be hosting a Migration event on Wednesday, September 3rd starting at 6pm. As we mentioned before there will be brewery representatives on hand. What rare offerings are we talking about? The brewery digs deep for these events they are sending us:

  • Bourbon County Proprietors
  • Bourbon County Coffee 2012
  • Bourbon County Backyard Rye
  • Juliet
  • Sofie
  • Matilda
  • Gillian
  • Lolita
  • Ipa
  • 312 Wheat

This will certainly be the first time that we have seen many of these beers on draft in this market.
