Mardi Gras at Geaux Brewing

Geaux Brewing MGNew Orleans French Quarter themed Geaux Brewing is the only place to be for Mardi Gras in the NW; one foot inside and you’ll swear you just stepped onto Bourbon Street. Not only does Geaux have one of the coolest themed taprooms you’ll find they also produce some of the best beer around Seattle. To celebrate Mardi Gras, starting at 4PM (2/17) Geaux will be serving up their exceptional beer and Where Ya At Matt will be there with some authentic New Orleans cooking. Make sure you’re there, anywhere else and it’s just another Tuesday. Laissez les bons temps rouler!

Full event details:

Where Y’at Matt is serving up good ol’ creole and cajun-inspired cuisine. They’ll also have slices of king cake for sale. We’ll be playing our Mardi Gras favorites and will also have some live music a little later in the evening. For fun, we’ll be piping in a live feed from Mardi Gras in New Orleans and projecting it on our 11ft. screen. Since the weather is looking good, we will set up our outside area for additional seating, but bring your jackets. It gets pretty chilly once the sun goes down. We’ll have TWELVE beers on tap—four of which are less than a week old since release. Beer list below:
  • Tremé (duh)
  • BTR
  • Poydras
  • Lafitte
  • Satchmo
  • White IPA
  • Ragin’ Cajun Double IPA
  • Sax Triple IPA
  • Wee Y’at
  • Bayou
  • Cinnamon Chocolate Stout
  • Rex (released once a year on Mardi Gras)

All beers are $5 and come in 16 or 10oz pours depending on the beer ABV. Because of the craziness of the party, we won’t be running tabs, doing growler fills, or taster flights.

See y’all at the party!
