Today is a packed day, folks! After some big events the past two days to open up Seattle Beer Week, this is when things really start heating up. It’s going to be a busy day, we’ve already been to one event this morning, so we’ll keep this short and sweet. Here’s what you need to know:
7AM – MiiR Grand Opening:
MiiR is opening the doors to its anticipated Flagship location at 3400 Stone Way N. The Grand Opening will be official May 9 (during Seattle Beer Week), open daily 7 am to 9 pm. The Fremont location will feature 28 taps, 3 specialty roasters, full espresso bar, pastries, and MiiR’s full line of bottles/growlers/bikes/tumblers. For every MiiR hydration product, one person in need receives one year of clean water. For every MiiR bike, one bike is provided to someone in need. At the MiiR Flagship, every cup of coffee or pint of beer will provide one day of clean water to a person in need. The space is crafted for community, connection, and empowered giving.
No this isn’t a MAJOR event in terms of Seattle Beer Week, but anything that combines beer and for philanthropy deserves attention. We’ll be bringing you more info on MiiR in the coming days. In the meantime, go check them out!
12PM – Reuben’s New Location Grand Opening:
A Ballard favorite is moving to newer, bigger, and shinier digs. The grand opening celebration of the new brewery and taproom, located at 5010 14th Ave NW in Seattle, will include tours of the new brewery, beers from the cellar, giveaways and more!
