As you all know, we love to combine our passion for beer with our desire to be philanthropic as often as possible. So when an important cause is tied to great beer, we want you to know about it. One such event is taking place this Thursday (8/27, 7-10PM)
With the continuing wildfires happening all over our great state, Beveridge Place Pub and Engine House No. 9 have decided to team up and help raise funds to assist with ongoing efforts to assist those affected. BPP will be serving some of that great E9 beer, with $1 per pint going towards relief efforts. They will also be raffling off glassware and threads from local breweries. This is a great opportunity to help out with the relief effort and enjoy some fantastic beer while you’re at it.
Event info from Beveridge Place Pub:
Drink great beers for a great cause! We scheduled this brewer’s night with Engine House #9 several weeks ago with an amazing line-up of Belgian-style brews in mind. The proliferation of wildfires throughout the state prompted us to combine BPP’s two passions – enjoying awesome beer and helping animals!
We’ll have 9 beers on from E9 (see what we did there?), including all four releases of their Ferme Agrume Farmhouse series, plus award winning beers like Golden Berry Wild, Tacoma Wild, and Nefelibata Flanders Red! In addition to donating $1 per glass of E9 brews, we’ll be raffling off some cool glassware and t-shirts from numerous breweries! These funds will be donated to Washington State Animal Response Team.
The Washington State Animal Response Team is a 100% volunteer organization that assists in rescuing domestic animals in emergency situations. The have opened an emergency companion animal shelter in the Okanagan to help people who needed to evacuate their homes take care of themselves by taking care of their animals for them.
