Naked City is getting into the Halloween spirit again this year with The Naked & The Dead (10/31, 6PM). Their screening room will be transformed into a “Screaming room” where you can enjoy classic horror films, live music, delicious food, great beer, and a costume contest!
Check out the event details below:
Halloween. Bare branches scratch at an angry sky like skeletal hands reaching up from a grave. Spirits roam the streets. And in the Naked City, we revel in spooky fun.
There are no evil spirits in the Naked City*, only great beer and another spooky fun celebration in the “Screaming” Room. This year’s party will feature a free double-feature of horror films, each with its own unique live audio soundtrack. The night starts with Noisegasm performing live to Vampyr (7pm), followed by DJ Nicfit spinning the wheels of steel to Nosferatu (9pm).
Your costume could win you a prize in our costume contest! The top three winners will be announced at 11pm. All you have to do to enter is buy a beer and be around as our staff will pick their favorites throughout the evening.
Get in the vampire spirit by checking out Nathan Jeffrey’s original adaptation of Bram Stoker’s Dracula over at the Taproot Theatre, showing all through the month of Otober.
Taproot Theatre’s original Dracula info can be found here.
