It’s time for our favorite release of the year: Fremont Brewing’s Bourbon Abominable. It’s not just that the beer is excellent (it really is), but it’s the festive nature of the event that really sets it apart. From the different B-Bomb infusions to the break-dancing Yeti, it’s part bottle-release and part-party, and a great time for all. Fremont Brewing is releasing its award winning Bourbon Abominable (B-Bomb) on Friday, November 27th! B-Bomb will be on tap and available in 22oz bottles at 11am in our Urban Beer Garden. At 5pm, we will tap three B-Bomb infusions and rumor has it that the Yeti will be making an appearance once again.
Description: This year’s release of B-Bomb is aged in 12 and 15 year-old American Oak whiskey barrels and is a blend of 24 and 12-month old barrel strength Abominable Ale. B-Bomb achieves distinct bourbon, oak, cacao, leather, and dark coffee notes from its extended barrel aging and barrel blending. Each barrel contributes a different note and combining each barrel to create a coherent tone is a distinct art and true pleasure.
Down & Dirty: 2-Row Pale, Chocolate, Roast, Carafe, Munich, and Dark Crystal malts with Columbus, Willamette, and Golding hops.
