Help Fund Flatstick Pub’s New Location in Pioneer Square

Flatstick PubEverybody’s favorite East Side craftbeer and mini-golf spot, Flatstick Pub, is looking to open a location in downtown Seattle. Flatstick Pub has become the ultimate destination for craftbeer and mini-golf lovers alike. Through their locally sourced beer, brewer’s nights, Pup of the Month, and more they have endeared themselves to many people. And soon too, the people of Seattle.

Do you want the same benefits that our East Side brethren have been reaping? Then head over to their Community Sourced Capital page and make a donation. There are just under two weeks left to help bring a Flatstick Pub location to downtown Seattle. Trust us, you’ll be thrilled when it’s here.

Further info from the campaign page:

Flatstick Pub is coming to Seattle in early 2016! We’re thrilled to be taking over the basement of the 116 year old Pacific Commercial Building on the corner of S Main & 2nd Ave S in historic Pioneer Square. We believe this incredible space, which features stunning architecture of the original brick walls, archways, and massive steel and wood beams, is the perfect place for us to expand. Will you join our campaign to make this next step a reality?

Our Local Focus:

Our mission at Flatstick Pub is to create an innovative and fun venue that celebrates and promotes locally made beer from independent breweries. Local breweries are good for local economies. They create jobs, contribute to city and state coffers, are often generous to local charities and causes, and help to revitalize neighborhoods. But they face stiff competition from mega corporate breweries who use their clout to dominate grocery shelf space, bar and restaurant tap handles, and beer options at sporting and entertainment venues. At Flatstick Pub we refuse to do business with corporate beer, we only buy from independent breweries located in our home state. When considering the impact on the local community and the fact that there are nearly 300 breweries here in Washington we see no reason to import beer from across the country or around the world. There is plenty of great beer made right here!

While the main focus at Flatstick is on beer we also work exclusively with local companies to source our wine, hard cider, food, and everything else we purchase whenever possible. We don’t have our own kitchen, instead we work with neighboring restaurants to provide food for our guests.

Grand Plans for Our Location in Pioneer Square:

Fun is at the core of everything we do. We love to create entertaining bar games that you won’t find anywhere else. That starts with our indoor miniature golf course. The new course will be Seattle themed with local landmarks serving as obstacles. The fun doesn’t end with mini golf though, we’re also going to be introducing the first ever Duffleboard course. Duffleboard is an original Flatstick Pub creation that combines the games of shuffleboard and mini golf. We’ve got even more new games coming, we want to make sure you’ll never be bored at Flatstick.

What’s better than getting together with friends or colleagues for a party? We’re designing this space to be ideal for groups small and large to celebrate special occasions or corporate functions. There will be dedicated party suites and group areas that can host anywhere from 8 to 200 people.

Where you come in:

We can’t wait to be a part of this community and we are hoping that you can help us make this dream a reality. It’s a really big project and we need a little bit of help raising the money to complete it. All contributions will be matched by the Fund Local matching capital program, which means that each $50 you lend means $100 for Flatstick Pub’s growth. Join us on this next phase of our growth! We look forward to having some special Squareholder events before and after we open so you can see what you’ve created!
